Jack & Jess’s Ina Coolbrith Park Marriage Proposal

Jack picked a spot that already meant something to them, which always makes a proposal feel a little extra special. He chose Ina Coolbrith Park, a place close to home that he and Jess visit often and one that already felt woven into their everyday life. He told me they go there a fair amount, and that anytime she goes for a walk, she ends up there. So when he proposed here with the San Francisco skyline behind them, it felt both beautifully surprising and completely right.

Jess’s reaction was the best kind — big smile, happy surprise — and from there, the rest of the session basically photographed itself. These two were so sweet together, and after the proposal there were nonstop hugs, kisses, and a just-engaged energy where they just couldn’t stop smiling at each other.

Ina Coolbrith Park is already one of the prettiest little corners of the city, but it felt even more personal knowing this was a local spot they genuinely love. After a few portraits, Jack and Jess headed off to dinner to continue celebrating. Such a cute couple, and a very fun one to photograph. Congrats to J&J!
