Jed had a planned a weekend getaway on the Mendocino coast with Katie, and originally he was going to kick it off by proposing to her once they had arrived. As the plan solidified though, he eventually decided to do it at the beginning of their trip so that they could fully enjoy their wine tasting and glamping trip as an engaged couple. While headed across the Golden Gate Bridge to go sailing with their friends, Ari received a call from one of them — unfortunately, he relayed, their departure was delayed for an hour, so they’d have to find something else to do to burn some time. (This was, of course, all part of the plan… unbeknownst to Anna.)
