Savan and Priya flew across the country to the San Francisco for the long President’s Day weekend, and on Saturday afternoon they made the short hike up to the top of Mori Point with a couple of friends. In between all our late-summer weddings and surprise proposals, we had the pleasure of hanging out with Renate and Keith’s family at the beautiful Montara State Beach. Back in the spring, we had donated a family photo session to the Ocean Shore School here in Pacifica for their fundraising auction, and this sweet family won our photo session. Being avid hikers, Jeremy and Nicole took advantage of their trip to the Bay Area to find some new spots to explore. The Linda Mar Beach/Pacifica State Beach is one of my favorite spots around here, so I’m really glad Jeremy liked my suggestion! It’s a pretty easy trail which goes up along a cliff facing the Pacific Ocean and offers beautiful views of the beach and ocean down below. Jeremy led his future wife to an overlook at the edge of the cliff before dropping down on one knee, giving them a beautiful backdrop for the proposal. [ read more … ]

Julie and Quin are expecting their twins soon — a boy and a girl!! Does it get any better than that? I wish I were so blessed 😀 We strolled along the Linda Mar Beach trail right next to their home in our lovely city of Pacifica and spent the evening golden hour under pouring sunshine.
