Lillian’s cake smash was an absolutely adorable one!! We started the session with her wearing her little red tutu in her parent’s backyard. For this session, Julie and Eric provided all kinds of props and made sure that Lillian was well-fed and had a good nap, giving me lots of opportunities to snap many happy shots! We were all laughing pretty hard at Lillian’s reaction after her cake smash; the sugar high hit her literally within five minutes of digging into the cake, and she turned from a quiet baby into a dancing queen! I will always remember the sparkles in Lillian’s eyes when she took the first bite of that frosting, and the “hmmmm” sound she was making during the whole cake smashing. It was just ADORABLE!! Little Xavier is 6 months old!! He has leveled up from his toothless stage — he officially has two teeth now!! Xavier loves Mommy’s singing and Daddy’s cuddle, enjoys pulling Mommy’s hair and giggles to all the silly things I say to him. I was screaming “sooooo cute” in my usual high-pitched voice constantly while editing these photos and David had to find a headset for that 😀 Now let’s see how cute Xavier’s pictures are!

We all have been waiting for Luna to come to this world! She is a healthy and beautiful baby 😀 Luna may appear to be a deep sleeper judging by the photos, but that was not quite true — she’s about a month old now and her sleep pattern is constantly changing! She would wake up to any light movement during the photo shoot, but thanks to Mom and Grandma, we got some really cute shots. Look at Luna in her cute Little Mermaid and Minnie Mouse costume!!

I had a fun session with Julie and Eric’s beautiful family! With Christmas just around the corner, Julie’s parents were visiting them in town, and the rain stopped just in time for their photo shoot. Little Lillian is soooo cute! She is a very happy baby and didn’t mind laughing in front of my cameras. Her tiny, adorable red polka dot dress made her pop in all the photos and was very Christmas-y!

I photographed Ruth’s maternity session back in late July. About a month later little Xavier came to this world a little earlier than planned. So when Ruth contacted me, I was super excited to meet him!

He is so tiny that you just can’t help to love and protect him. Life is really precious and wonderful!
