Laura Beth and Andrew are expecting their first child!! After scaling down their original wedding plans to a “lemonade” Zoom wedding last year, LB kept with the theme and wore a lemon dress for her maternity photos. I loved it! This was a really quick mini-shoot right outside their home, so even though we didn’t spend a lot of time together it was wonderful to catch up a bit and get some beautiful maternity photos at Sutro Baths. Five years ago, Chai and a few of her girlfriends walked over to the Lyon Street Steps for some afternoon tea. She thought her boyfriend Ashwin was at home halfway across the world in London, but in fact, he was walking up from the bottom of the steps, ready to surprise her with a marriage proposal… and the rest is history.

Now happily married as husband and wife, they decided to celebrate five years since she said yes by going back to the exact spot for some proposalversary photos. What a treat it was to photograph this couple + family photo session! Anh & Cliff (ok, mostly Anh… according to Cliff) had prepared themselves and their kids with matching outfits from head to toe, and even had cute pieces for their two dogs to wear.
