Anne & Arthur’s Pier 7 and Gott’s Roadside Engagement Session

San Francisco holds a special place in Anne and Arthur’s hearts because it’s where their story first began! It felt only fitting, then, to feature the city as the setting for their engagement photos. We spent a beautiful afternoon along the Embarcadero, starting at Pier 7 with its charming wooden boardwalk and gorgeous sunset views of the city skyline.

The golden afternoon sunlight was absolutely beautiful, and I loved how sweet and playful these two were together! From romantic kisses and quiet embraces to a little dancing near the Ferry Building, their happiness was so easy to capture. Anne’s flowy blue skirt also looked so pretty in the warm evening light!

One fun little detail about their story is how Arthur proposed to Anne at Lake Michigan, and right afterward, they celebrated by getting ice cream. We thought it would be fun to bring a little piece of that memory into their San Francisco engagement session, so we ended our shoot with a sweet treat at Gott’s Roadside in the Ferry Building. Sharing an ice cream cone together was such a cute way to wrap up the evening!

Congratulations, Anne and Arthur! It was so lovely getting to capture this snapshot of your story in the city where it all started, and I’m so excited for your next chapter in just a few months!
