Ashley & Kat’s Carmel Beach Surprise Proposal

Ashley had been planning her trip to the west coast with Kat around one important goal: a sunset surprise proposal on the beaches of Carmel. But as proposal plans sometimes go, there was a last-minute scramble when they couldn’t find their car keys, and by the time they made it to the beach, the sun had already slipped below the horizon.

Luckily, this special evening still had plenty of color left in it. Under a soft, textured sky with the ocean stretching out behind them, Ashley got down on one knee, and Kat’s reaction was absolutely priceless. She was so excited she could hardly contain herself!

We stayed on the beach for a little while afterward, letting them soak it all in and capturing a few more photos beneath that beautiful, moody sky. The soft colors, quiet beach, and Kat’s incredible reaction gave this whole evening its own special flavor of magic. What started with a little last-minute chaos turned into such a unique and joyful proposal, a beautiful end to an evening that won’t soon be forgotten.
