Quinn & Nikita’s Montara State Beach Engagement Photos

Quinn and Nikita hopped coasts for the most California kind of week: towering cliffs, wine country sunsets, and ocean breezes. They started their trip with a visit to Point Reyes, where Quinn got down on one knee and proposed. After a celebratory few days sipping and strolling through Napa, they headed back toward San Francisco for the final leg of their trip, and we met up at Montara State Beach for this photo shoot.

This beach was a perfect one to show off the smooth, sandy beaches of California, as well as the rugged ocean bluffs and rocks reminiscent of the ones at Chimney Rock, where the proposal happened just a few days earlier. I just loved the atmosphere of this whole shoot, with Quinn and Nikita’s excitement and post-engagement glow conspicuously present in every moment. And between the twirls, hugs, and splashes under the warm golden hour light, this session was one of my favorites of the year! Cheers to this next chapter in this beautiful couple’s journey 🙂
