Paul & Vivian’s Surprise Proposal at Sonoma Valley Regional Park

Paul’s proposal to Vivian took a bit of teamwork, and I think including their family & friends made it an even more memorable moment.

We first met up with Paul at the base of Sonoma Valley Regional Park before hiking to a quiet overlook tucked away among the golden hills and oak trees. Once we reached the spot, Paul waited on a bench hidden just around the corner while Vivian’s brother, Victor, and his fiancée, Karen, casually led her up the trail. They were planning their own wedding and were supposedly meeting with their florist that day.

The moment Vivian spotted Paul waiting for her, everything clicked. He walked down to meet her, shared a few heartfelt words, and asked the question. Her surprise quickly turned into excitement as she said yes!

Just beyond the hill, another surprise was waiting. Just moments later, four of their friends came emerged from where they had been quietly hiding the whole time. The laughter, hugs, and congratulations made the celebration even more special.

After everyone had a chance to celebrate together, we wandered back down the trail, stopping along the way for portraits set against the beautiful summer landscape. Congratulations again, Paul and Vivian!
