Sarah & Lewis’s SF City Hall Elopement with a Pink Classic Thunderbird

Sarah & Lewis flew from their home in a small midwestern town to the busy center of San Francisco for their elopement at City Hall, and I adored how personal and beautiful this whole day felt.

We started inside SF City Hall, taking portraits around the glowing window light, grand staircase, and ornate arches. Their ceremony was intimate and sweet, with the building’s beautiful architecture adding just the right amount of grandeur without making the day feel overly formal. I even had the honor of being their witness, which made this day extra special and memorable to me 🙂

Afterward, we headed outside for portraits. Both being classic car lovers, Sarah and Lewis had arranged for a pink Thunderbird to wait outside City Hall for them. It was the perfect touch — playful, stylish, and very them, and this quickly became one of my favorite parts of the session. Sarah’s sleek white dress and Lewis’s navy suit looked great against the pastel pink car, and the sunny city backdrop gave everything a fun vintage feel.

They’ll be celebrating more with a low-key reception back home later, but their San Francisco elopement was such a perfect way to make it official: simple, meaningful, and full of personality!
