Stephanie’s Family Photos at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay

Stephanie reached out hoping to capture a special evening with her parents and sister, and from the beginning, it was meant to be more than just a family photo session. Her parents were celebrating their anniversary, so while we made sure to photograph everyone together, the heart of the shoot was really about honoring their love, the family they built, and the joy surrounding them.

We met near the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay on a gorgeous evening, with warm golden light spilling across the beach and cliffs. This group brought such radiant energy to the shoot, and it matched the sunset beautifully. Stephanie’s parents were so easy and natural together, laughing, holding hands, and even sneaking in a little twirl by the water. I could tell right away how much love there was between them, and how much joy their daughters had in celebrating this milestone with them.

This was such a kind, fun family to work with, and I loved that the session became both a family keepsake and a celebration of a beautiful marriage 🙂
