Anna & Adam’s Sonoma Vineyard Wedding at Vine Hill House

We’ve adored Adam & Anna’s love story since the moment we met them. Anna’s family has been beekeepers for several generations, and Adam proposed with jars of A&A’s very first batch of honey. We photographed their engagement session at Anna’s parents’ home, right where their bees are kept. And so it should come as no surprise that cute little bee-related details made their way into A-squared’s wedding day too.

Anna & Adam’s first look was one of our favorite first looks ever. I feel like Anna set the mood for the whole day by coming up behind Adam and giving him a nice big squeeze on the butt 😀 Both of them looked impeccable, and these moments were so precious. And we really liked the little bee and sunflower shoe clips that Adam gave Anna!

Even though this was a pretty large wedding by guest count, we loved how small and close it felt. Everything was so personal! The wedding favors were beautifully-designed jars of their very own Wagnerberg honey, and Anna made most of the details herself. We thought the table place cards were an especially nice touch. Instead of having table numbers, each card had a question about the couple with the answer being a number. We didn’t see anyone standing for dinner, so we gather that everyone knew the bride & groom quite well. (Or they realized Anna was nice enough to put answers on the back 😛 ) One of the few things Anna didn’t make was the cake — and that was made by her mom, who did an incredible job! Oh, and as you might expect, all these things were in the form of hexagons, of course.

Vine Hill House is one of the most beautiful Sonoma vineyard wedding venues we’ve ever visited, and being the photographers for a couple with this much personality and energy made it a dream wedding for us. Scroll down to take a look at this incredible day!
