Maximus | Pacifica Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Meet four-day-old Maximus — Xavier’s new little brother! It’s been a pleasure documenting Ruth’s family every few months for the past two years. I was so happy to meet this little guy and as you can see, so was his big brother!!

Lots of kisses and snuggles and TONS of love 🙂

Julie & Eric | San Jose Doerr Park Family Photos

Eric’s mother was in town, so the family and I met up again in San Jose and had a family shoot at Doerr Park. Lillian is now 20 months old! She’s grown up so much since I last met her for her cake smash photo shoot! She’s such an adorable independent little lady – loves to run around, especially away from us, making that cute “come catch me!” face. Can’t wait to see you guys next year 😀

Eric & Erin | San Jose Municipal Rose Garden and Coyote Ranch Wedding

Eric and Erin chose to have a very intimate ceremony at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, witnessed by Eric’s sister and brother-in-law (and me!). The two of them exchanged romantic love letters and wedding gifts before their “I do’s.” Interestingly, they know each other so well that they even got the same card for each other. How cute! Their “I Do BBQ” reception was held later at the Coyote Ranch. It was a big fun party! Erin and Eric had some cute handgun cookies at the reception and we all had some fun with that! [ read more … ]

Lillian’s Cake Smash | San Jose Baby Portrait Photographer

Lillian’s cake smash was an absolutely adorable one!! We started the session with her wearing her little red tutu in her parent’s backyard. For this session, Julie and Eric provided all kinds of props and made sure that Lillian was well-fed and had a good nap, giving me lots of opportunities to snap many happy shots! We were all laughing pretty hard at Lillian’s reaction after her cake smash; the sugar high hit her literally within five minutes of digging into the cake, and she turned from a quiet baby into a dancing queen! I will always remember the sparkles in Lillian’s eyes when she took the first bite of that frosting, and the “hmmmm” sound she was making during the whole cake smashing. It was just ADORABLE!!
