Hannah & Ryan’s Mt. Tam Sunset Engagement Photo Shoot

Mt. Tamalpais is just magical at sunset, especially when the hills are glowing golden under the last light of the day! I met up with Hannah and Ryan for their engagement session on a beautiful fall evening, and this backdrop for their shoot couldn’t have been more perfect.

Hannah and Ryan love backpacking and spending time outdoors, so Mt. Tam was a wonderful fit for their engagement photos. They even brought along their backpacks for a few shots, which I thought was such a fun and personal touch! We spent the evening wandering through the golden grasslands, taking in the sweeping mountain views, and capturing all the sweet little moments between them. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the sky turned the most beautiful shades of orange and pink, with the Pacific Ocean stretching out below us.

From the playful twirls and piggyback rides to the quiet moments together, I loved how relaxed and fun this shoot felt — and I can’t wait for more of it at the wedding next year!
